Watch your credit cards as it is being imprinted.  This unwitting tourist in Puerto Vallarta was defrauded when his card was double-imprinted out-of-sight.  A piece of advice to make your vacation worry-free, esp[ecially after you retuirn top the States.  The author also rants and raves at the lost dream that he had to retire in Mexico about this time in his life.
